Tammy Duncan, Prairie View Library Media Specialist, was recognized for receiving the Oklahoma Library Association Special Meritorious Service Award. She goes above and beyond in providing services to her school students and the community.
Courtney Reuss, EPS Cares Daycare Director, was recognized for earning 5-star ratings for all three EPS Cares Daycare sites. Her hard work is appreciated by the district.
The board recognized Shea Salinas as a 6-A Female Wrestling State Qualifier. We are so proud of her.
Seven Enid Public Schools were recognized for being Oklahoma Healthy Schools: Glenwood, Garfield, McKinley, Monroe, Prairie View, Emerson Middle School and Longfellow Middle School.
Emily Roach represented Enid High School at the board meeting as the Secondary Spotlight Student.
McKinley Elementary Student, Aubriellen Weiss, led the audience in the Pledge for for the school board meeting on March 25, 2025.
EPS recognized Hagen Childs, Ava Crosswhite, Lucas Martinez, and Esteban Maxwell, seniors that will graduate from EHS with an Associate's Degree from Northern Oklahoma College. EPS has a collaborative program with NOC for students saving them thousands in tuition.
EHS Swim Team State Qualifiers were recognized at the board meeting. Those recognized were: Zane Briix, KayDynce Brochu, Lyla Brown, Eben Cho, Jack Denney, Taylor Higbee, Kal-El Hooper, Thomas Kissinger, Cassidy Lebeda, Laylah Nguyen, Hudson Plummer, Luke Rogers, and Loren Simpson.
EHS JROTC has achieved many accolades this year including winning two first place trophies at the Broken Arrow Competition. Students recognized were Rylan Brashear, Gunnarr Dryer, Tabitha Miller, Emily Roach, Ayden Rogers, Makenzie Shumaker, McKenzie Stamper, Caleb Stringfield, Cheyanne Stufflebeam, Devin Taylor, Colton Throckmorton, and Tristan Wilson.
Tavin Schumacher was the Emerson Spotlight Student at the board meeting this evening. He represented his school well.
